Using your benefits is easy! Whether you have a Florida 529 Savings Plan or Florida Prepaid College Plan, you can use your benefits nationwide, not just in Florida. Plus, you have at least 10 years to start using your Prepaid Plan and your 529 Savings Plan never expires.
Florida Prepaid College Plan benefits expire 10 years after the projected enrollment year of the initial student/Beneficiary. On the following page you will find a list of account names with expiring benefits.
If a 529 Savings Plan or Florida Prepaid College Plan is not fully redeemed, there may be unclaimed refunds left in the account. On the following page you will find a list of account names with unclaimed refunds.
