have questions about

Billing and Fees?

Automatic Billing

Billing is automatic for enrolled students with a Florida Prepaid Plan and does not require action from Account Owners or students. There is no Florida Prepaid card or student ID card needed.

Usage Holds

If students do not want the college or university to bill against their Prepaid Plan, the Account Owner or student may place a usage hold on their account by logging in at MyFloridaPrepaid.com and selecting Use Plans from the student Prepaid Plan page.

Fees Covered

The specific fees covered depend on the student’s plan type(s) and whether coverage was purchased for local fees or tuition differential fees. Florida Prepaid Plans do not cover all fees. For more information about what is covered, visit our tuition and fees page.

Other Scholarships

Florida Prepaid Plans may be used alongside scholarships, such as Bright Futures. Most colleges and universities bill the student Florida Prepaid Plan first. Scholarships may be used to cover remaining charges, and any excess funds may be issued to the student as a refund.

Timing

Florida Prepaid is typically applied after enrollment is confirmed and before payment deadlines, though timing may vary by institution.
