Four winners will each receive a 1-Year Florida University Plan and tickets to the college football rivalry games
Tallahassee, FL – The Florida Prepaid College Foundation has announced the winners of the statewide Tickets & Scholarship giveaway celebrating the launch of its new 1-Year Florida University Plan. The four winners each receive a 1-Year Florida University Plan and two tickets to one of the two college football rivalry games between the University of Central Florida and University of South Florida in Tampa on November 28 or the University of Florida and Florida State University in Tallahassee on November 29.
The Florida Prepaid College Foundation Scholarship Winners are:
- Joshua Lee Solt, 15, son of Thomas and Melinda Cosenza of Lutz, FL
- Paige Anne Kovacik, 5, daughter of Tom and Anne Kovacik of Tallahassee, FL
- Laura Shreve, 10, daughter of Rodney and Candice Shreve of Tallahassee, FL
- Caidyn Wyss, 14 months, daughter of Brian and Amity Wyss of Naples, FL
“She doesn’t really understand what it means now, but when she walks across that stage for college graduation it will be so important to her,” said Paige’s mom, Anne. “And we have been wanting to start Florida Prepaid savings for our other two kids, so this is the catalyst for us to get that started.”
This Open Enrollment period marks the first time families can buy the new 1-Year Florida University Plan, starting as low as $43 a month, as well as significantly reduced prices for the most popular Florida Prepaid College Plans – the lowest since 2007.
The winners can be available for media interviews on-site the day of the game. Members of the media who would like to schedule an on-site interview or speak to the winners should contact Shannon Colavecchio at [email protected]. Interviews will be scheduled no later than 2 hours prior to scheduled kickoff.
